I worked with art director Zoë Bather, alongside brilliant illustrators Oliver Macdonald Oulds and Charlotte Ager, on this black and white hardback from the BBC Radio 4 program The Infinite Monkey Cage. The book narrates an irreverent celebration of scientific marvels, from dark matter to consciousness via neutrinos and earthworms. Conversational in structure and comedic in tone, the book is extensively illustrated throughout to directly reflect the specific discussions between Professor Brian Cox, Robin Ince, leading scientists and comedians, that occur on each page. As a long-time Monkey Cage fan, and Brian Cox’s next wife (he’s yet to find out), this was a hoot to work on. You can grab yourself a copy here.
