Anna Tsing likes ‘The Network’

Myself and Nina Carter, ‘It’s Freezing In LA’s creative director, emailed ‘The Network’ to Anna Tsing—anthropologist and all-around legend. The piece was heavily inspired by a story she retells in her essay for ‘Writers on Writing’, ‘Writing and Rhythm: call and response with Anna Tsing and Paulla Ebron’. Anyway, she sent us an email back. It consists of 7 words but is one of my proudest moments since becoming an anthropologist.
